GRAMMAR

  V1 = plural verb, V5 = singular verb have = plural, has = singular Subjects and verbs must agree in number. In addition to the explanations on this page, also see the post on Subject-Verb Agreement. Simply, the number of  verb must match its number of subjects. V 1  = plural ,  V 5  = singular   1.       If the subject is singular, the verb must be singular too. Example:  She   writes  every day. 2.       If the subject is plural, the verb must also be plural. Example:  They   write  every day.
