Goal: Capture main points of multiple speakers clearly, coherently, and objectively.
Timing: ~2 minutes total
Template Structure
“The discussion focused on [TOPIC].”
“A panel of experts discussed [TOPIC] and shared various viewpoints.”
“This group discussion addressed the key issues related to [TOPIC].
Firstly, Speaker A argued that [POINT]. Then, it has been demonstrated that (phrase 1). The speaker also gave brief information about (phrase 2)
“Next, Speaker B suggested that [POINT]. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that (phrase 1). The speaker also gave brief information about (phrase 2).
“Meanwhile, Speaker C emphasised [POINT]. Also, it has been demonstrated that (phrase 1). The speaker also gave brief information about (phrase 2).
“Overall, the discussion highlighted both opportunities and challenges regarding [TOPIC].”
“Thus, the main consensus was [POINT], with differing opinions on [SUBPOINT].”
Key Tips:
Do not say “I think” — use neutral, academic tone.
Speak in full sentences; avoid bullet-like speech.
Moderate pace; clear enunciation of all words.
Use phrases ( 4-5 words) while using the template.
